The Malaysian Cocoa Board (MCB) was established under the Malaysian Cocoa Board (Incorporation) Act 1988 to promote and develop the cocoa industry in Malaysia. It also supports industry players, including cocoa farmers, processors, manufacturers, and exporters, by offering technical expertise, training, and guidance on best practices to enhance the quality of Malaysian cocoa.

Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre

The Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, established in 1964, is located approximately 25 kilometers west of Sandakan in Sabah, Malaysia. It was the first official project dedicated to rehabilitating orphaned and injured orangutans, aiming to reintroduce them into the wild. The center is situated within the 4,294-hectare Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve, providing a natural habitat for the orangutans during their rehabilitation process. Visitors can observe these primates during feeding times at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm daily, offering a unique opportunity to witness their behavior in a semi-wild environment. The center also features a nursery area where younger orangutans learn essential survival skills. In addition to orangutans, the center is home to other wildlife, including pig-tailed macaques. Visa Requirements

A valid Passport (and visa if applicable) is required for all individuals entering Malaysia. Immigration requests that your passport be valid for at least 6 months. Visitors are advised to check the visa information provided at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia. Most foreign visitors to Malaysia can enter with just a passport.

Israel citizens who wish to enter are required Visa and approval from Ministry of Home Affairs, Malaysia
Visa is not required for a stay of less than one (1) month for ASEAN nationals except Myanmar. Visas are required for duration of stay exceeds (1) month except for Brunei and Singapore nationals.

FOR SPECIAL ENTRY REQUEST

Citizens of Nigeria and Bangladesh are required to obtain entry clearance from Sabah’s State Home Affairs and Research Office, at least seven days prior to their arrival. Kindly note that failing to comply with this requirement may result in denial of entry to Sabah.

(1) Copy of Passport;
(2) Copy of Immigration Pass in Passport;
(3) Provide detailed justifications of visit (including duration/ date on entry) and contact number during visit in Sabah, including contact person;
(4) Booking confirmation/ proof of stay in Sabah;
(5) Proof of tour travels packages (if any)/ relevant supporting documents of official visit, business visit such as MICF 2025 ticket;
(6) Return ticket/ confirmed flight itinerary.
(7) Letter from company – Leave approval (if any)
